Apple Imac 20″ intel core duo
After having owned every version of the imac since 2000 I was not hesitant to spend the $ on apples newest imac revision. From the original gumdrop imac released 7 years ago apple has made a huge impact in the desktop computer world. Their 2006 model continues to make a splash. I purchased this imac from apples refurb section of their site (which I highly recommend by the way) this past October.First things first.. this computer screams! Although it is marketed towards the consumer it has plenty of power for professional use. This model I have is the Dual Core 2.0Ghz with superdrive (dvd burner) and it also sports built in wireless internet, bluetooth 2.0, and best of all it has a few features new to the imac line. It has a built in isight camera for video conferencing with other isight equiped friends and family. Another new feature is Apple’s Front Row. Front Row is an interface which allows you to browse through all of your media on your computer. Music, Photos, Movies, Podcasts, and DVDs. It comes with an small infrared remote which allows you control your mac from several feet away.
Oh Yeah. No need to buy a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse with this guy. It comes with it all in the box! This machine also comes in 3 sizes. 17″ 20″ or 24″ And the screen is widescreen and has amazing color and clarity
